First off, I want to thank Genentech for this great opportunity to be able to come here every Monday. It is the reason i wake up exited on Mondays.
My favorite Science Day was when we made a DNA Model out off candy in 4th grade. It was my favorite because...well...we got to eat the candy after.
I remember another funny science project that involved us eating salt,lemon,and other bitter things. After I ate a pinch of salt my mentor tried some too. Then she immediately grabbed her water bottle because it was so gross and salty.
Genentech is a wonderful place. My mentors have taught me so much over the past 3 years. I'm sad I'm leaving, but happy I got to be here and work with amazing people, and do amazing things.
