August 30th


Thankfully, the school decided that we must sit in alphabetical order during lunch for a whole week.

You obviously are not so fond of the idea because you want to catch up with your “friends” And that is just what happens next.

Amy, you will meet a girl named Khadija and she will become your mother figure throughout middle school. No matter what decisions you make she will always stand by your choices but do NOT get to comfortable with the idea of this friendship.

Throughout this year I want you to speak carefully and judge thoughtfully. Do not judge people based on the rumors you hear, when you arrive to school I want you to have a clean slate of everyone and judge them for yourself.

In the meantime, remain the sweet little Amy that your parents spent so much time raising. It will all come back eventually.

Hello Amy, how are your grades coming along? You better pay attention in class because I promise that it will be worth it.

Now that school has begun and friends are gathering in groups I want you to analyze your friends carefully. Be wise to whom you come to trust and whom you call a friend.

The majority of your friends are going to black. But I want you to make friends with those who truly understand you, I want you to become friends with children of all ethnicities. Not just blacks.

Especially the ones your hanging out with now. Let me warn you, if you continue like this your middle school life will not fly by easily.

Oh yeah, do not become friends with any of the boys, they are trouble! And don’t become friends with them because I told you not to.

I warned you not to become friends with any of the boys and yet you don’t listen. But let me tell you one thing, if you say yes then you’re not only going to ruin your own life but break the hearts of the only man you’ve ever known.

Do you know who that is? Your father.

Amy do not go out with Zech, he’s trouble. And it’s not just that, I know that this is going to sound annoying but you are also to young to be messing around with boys, and take this from me because I am you.

Once you say no, and he asks why, just tell him that you are too young and that you don’t want to think about boys, you are to modest.

He will understand, we know him after all. And if he begs you to date him say that you are already arranged for someone! Because you technically are, for pharaoh who is actually worthy of your love as you are his.

Trust me.

Fucking idiot didn’t I tell you not to go steady with him? Now look at you, you’re a miess. I want you to end whatever relationship you have with him because It's not worth the tears or the pain, it’s idiotic of you to put yourself through this when you’re only eleven years old!

Especially since his birthday is coming up. What are you going to get him? Nothing.
