• Cyber-bullying is when someone gets bullied somehow on the internet. It can be on social medias or just on the internet. An example of a site where many people get bullied is Ask.fm because you can write things anonymously.

Cyber-bullying is harmful because you can’t see who’s behind the screen(if it’s anonymous) and those who write mean things feel safe because they think that nobody can figure out who it is because it’s anonymous. Those who get bullied take cyber-bullying more serious because the bullies feel that they can say more hard words or the bullied ones get more offended because they don’t know who it is.

A movie called ”Cyberbully” is about a girl who gets hate and awful comments on the internet, not anonymous, but that kind of stuff gets to you anyway. It goes so far so she tries to commit suicide and that movie is a very good example of cyber-bullying. The statistics say that under the year 2014, 1531 people committed suicide between the ages of 15 to 65.

• If the bullying happens on example Instagram(it could be any other social medias) then Instagram is responsible for stopping it. Instagram could filter some words so that they can’t be written on the site. I think that any site should do that, it doesn’t matter if people get bullied there or not. I think that it just makes it to a more safe site.

Maybe some people don’t agree with this but I think that it’s the bullies and the victim's responsibility too actually. The bully can just stop with what he’s doing because I don’t see how the bully finds joy in what he’s doing. And yes, it could be very difficult for the victim to get the bully to stop but the person could stop using that social media or do something else to try to stop this. The person could also try to tell someone, like an adult or a friend that could help you.

• If I would get bullied I would try to tell someone or stop using the social media where I get bullied.

I could also try to report the one that is bullying me. If the bully goes to my school I could try to tell the principal. Then the principal could give the pupil a suspension for a few days or maybe a week. If it doesn’t help the pupil can get replaced or transferred to another school.
