1. Deffinitions
Pressure - force applied to certain area
Hydraulic system - mechanism that works due to the movement of liquid in a confined system
pneumatic system - mechanism that works due to the movement of gas in a confisned system
Valves - control movemnet of fluids
Compressible - when pressure is applied, the volume can be reduced
imcompressible - when pressure applied colume can not be reduced

2./3. Human ciculatory system or valves in combustion system
conbustion:
1. intake stroke opens, lets and air/fuel mixture enter the cylinder.
2. exhaust valve closes prevent anything from leaving.
3. compression stroke, intake and exhaust valves are closed. moves to top of cylinder compressing air/fuel mixture
4. power stroke both valves remain closed.
5. spark plug adds spark to compressed air/fuel mixture, causes combustion of the mixture.
6. combustion moves the piston back down the cylinder (gives vehicle its power) and prduces exhaust.
7. durnig exhaust stroke intake stroke is closed exhaust stroke opens, piston moves up cylinder and pushes out exhaust.

4. Decompression and ear problems.
decompression sickness when divers go to deep and pressure holds them down, the increased pressure cause oxygen and nitrgyn to disolve into blood, causes u to be confused. if diver comes up to quickly, gasses dotn have time to diffuse in lungs so they form bubbles in the blood. can cause extreme pain in muscles, confusion and blood.
ear problems caused by pressure difference. caused by reduced air pressure on outside of plane (outside ear) higher altitudes. pressure in inner ear is still the same. pressure difference makes uncomfortable sensatin in ear, swalowing can move air into inner ear making the air pressure (inside ear) the same.
