Satelit survei sumber daya alam, yaitu satelit yang memiliki fungsi dalam memetakan serta untuk menyelidiki berbagai sumber-sumber alam yang terdapat dibumi untuk kepentingan suatu pertambangan, perikanan, pertanian, dan sebagainya.
