-i get it if some sports only get scholarships, but basketball and football make tons of money.

if we payed players even 100000 a year, it would equal to about 65000 a year with taxes thus losing the school money.

-compensation for injury
-extra classes
-money worth about half their yearly scholarship
-support
-monthly 'salary' that they can spend on food, drinks, entertainment ETC.. but nothing outrageous
-get some form of payment if they make it to the sweet 16 and further payment if final four.
-get cash rewards if you win an award(MVP, ETC...)
