Before we get to meet up again I would just like to say something that I think might be relevant with what we’re about to talk about. I’ve had a few moments to think about this after the camp and it is with a heavy heart that I feel like I need to say my piece.

During the camp ahia Gerry and I talked about the student center wanting to talk to me about the Living waters program and about the funds. I found out that majority didn’t really like the idea of the P300/week budget for my life group. As I said, whatever you guys decide on; I will support it 100% after it has been made. I will make no further complaints and just accept it as it is; before that decision is made though, I will say my point of view about the matter.

As you all know, we’re saving up for the new church building; so I can understand why we’re cutting costs on the majority of our ministries and I fully support the church building. I do, however, think that we should all consider which ministries we are going to sacrifice, and how deep that sacrifice is. In regard to that, I really think that there is nothing wrong with the P300 budget. I was told that if my life group members were new believers then the fund would have been most likely approve, but since my life group members have matured and no longer have the wrong motive, then it’s okay to sacrifice the budget. For some reason it really pains my heart to hear this. It feels as though they’re not worth sacrificing the budget for. I would understand if the budget was really high, but to me I just feel like an amount that small would not affect the progress of the church building.
Just this Sunday ahia Genesis spoke about setting goals in our life. He told us that how big our goal is determines how big Our God is. This really spoke to my heart because right now achieving my main goal is near impossible. I believe in my heart that our God is all powerful and that He will provide no matter what the circumstance is. So my question is, what is P300/week compared to what our God can do? My family isn’t really rich; there were times where my dad would be so stressed because we didn’t have enough money; I never really thought about how much money we had left because I trusted that God will provide for my needs. Buying a house was near impossible with what we had; my dad actually gave up his dream of buying a house and just gave the money to the church, but God still provided. He gave us something that we never could have imagined to have.
I believe that this sacrifice is worth it because we are training leaders for future generations to come. I have seen how these guys have matured and how much God has worked in their lives and I believe that God will use them to make an impact in the lives of others someday. No matter what the decision is, I will still agree and support it 100%. If the budget is approved then I will really be grateful for the support, but if the P300 budget is not approved then I will just spend my own money for the sake of these kids because I love them so much and they’re like a family to me 
