I will divide our conversation into 3 parts -
1. Education , 2.Summarize my overall work exeprience as IT PM and about how I evolved into PM. 3. Bit about myself and my motivation.

Computer Sc.Engineering Degree (4yrs)
Got a scholarship to study masters from RMIT and then Siemens Hired me from Germany i finished my last year of Masters Degree in Informatiks from Germany
MESA certified : I help organizations follow the best practies for MES standards and ISA-95 standards for manufacturing.
Languages : I can speak English, German, Hindi , and bit of Korean
I have a very technical back ground, I have worked as Software Engineer in early stages of Career and from there moved up to business analyst, consultancy and now as IT project mgmt.
------------------- My important tasks as Product/Project Manager and Sr.IT Consultant --------------
Having worked in this sector espically oil/energy and solar specifically, I am quite interested and enthusiastic to puruse my career in Energy and Renewable sector
I have over 10 years of work experience . I have spent a good amount of time in in the Manufacturing Industry and Industrial automation in Oil and Energy Business which includes solar, IT services as a System Integrator, Manufacturing Plants . currently working as Sr.project Manager for the MES, handling 10 team members . With around 5 years in Project/Product Management.
- I act as the interface or SPOC between project stakeholders, partners and Project engineering teams ( covering from Design, Development, testing, staging and final rollout of the product. It also covered Product licensing and finally maintaining the system. In case there are any conflicts or issues or change requests they have to go via Me to the concerned department.
- My roles is - Once the project has been signed off, I am responsbile to for entire lifecycle of the project from the Requiremetn elicitiation phase, prioritizing the requiremetns , developing the solution under strict QA guidelines and then releasing and deploying this product to different customer locations worldwide. [ Focus is on Cost, Schedule, Customer Satisfaction and Quality]
- In my past experience , I have been also responsbible for Project planning , project control and execution and project reporting - Defining project guidelines (defining communication channel, team leaders , Organizing and bringing up the team (which includes hiring people, marshalling resource, many times Mentoring and Coaching the teams about the best practices, managing work between them and making sure a releasable product is produced ), within the project budget, scoping and timely execution the project.,
- Agile Methodologies - Typically we use MS Project where i create work packages and milestones for every phase within a project. I also use Scrum (agile methodologies) for time-boxed projects. Also at times Kanban especially in the Operations side.
- Create a clear communication channel between stakeholders, clients , partners and Engineering Teams.
- aLso doing a risk management along with Project management (risk assment and risk planning in project planning phase, then risk resolution and risk monitoring in Project implmentation phase.. and finally risk reporting in project reporting )
- Continously improving the existing system and legacy systems to meet customers goals- Business process consulting ,optimization and standardization ,- Standardization of process across different production plants to have a maintainable product.
- Collaborating with different Subject Matter Experts of different departments like Engineering, Sales, Infrastructure teams, negotiating SLA's , finding the right hardware resources. Communicating with them continously if there is any change request, change in project plans etc.
- Documentation - releasing and verifying technical (SRS, TRS , Design docs..) documents to Development teams, training manuals, coaching the Maintenance managers in the production line.
- Providing reports and feedback to management about the project progress., the weekly or bi-weekly releases and milestones reached.

----------------------Myself and my motivation------------
- I have already worked in Korea for over 4.5 years , i have gained very good insights about the customers in korea and asisan region. At this point of time i want to leverage that experience and bring it back to Germany.
- Having worked in Germany and Asia for around over 8 years now and Australia as well, I have attained very valuable customer insights , how to interact with customers, how to find new business opportunities in different business cultures, and I would like to use this experience back in Germany, and help companies grow not just in EUrope region but outside Europe too.
- I am an open source evangilist, i promote use of open source technologies in the organization horizontally. I am a contrbituer to open source communities like redhat, ubuntu and couple other.
- Me and wife plan to stay in Germany for probably the rest of our lives, we have been married for over 3 years now and we plan to raise a family ..and we plan to do that in Europe - We both can speak German we she is also quite familiar with German working style and culture.

- Provide innovative new solutions for our customers using latest technologies to solve their existing problems. (Eg: BigData, virutalization , In memory data grids etc.. )
- Real time monitoring of Data centers and Client PC on the shop-floor or in a production plant. Collecting the metrics data or self defined KPI's and storing them , running specific queries on them to finally visualize them on dashboards for production people, higher management , etc. You can get alerts and notification is something goes wrong on the shop floor system and appropirate action can be taken, it supports high availability , security , for rich clients and thin clients, advanced plugin management system (APMS)

- Creating one harmonized multi-site, multi-country MES template that spells out a consistent approach to MES that can be used
across plants by using Business Process Management and Business Rules Engine.
- Process consulting while integrating MES into the production environment.
- Supporting infrastructure related issues within the production environment also supporting local and remote teams . (eg: Server Issues, Database issues , network issues, Firewall issues , etc.. ) , most of my experience has been on Linux and Windows Servers and dealing with different databases like oracle, ms sql, mysql, postgresql etc..
- Analysis of existing process and improving the stability and efficiency of those processes.. increasing OEE...etc..
- Creating a generic MES template to Integrate the MES across different sites by defining certain best practices for the process and taking them from one project to another. Mainly focusing on re-usability of modules (Trying to move MES to cloud based MES, using concepts of big-data for MES, real time analytic etc.. )
-Analysis of requests and demands according P&I process . Business requirements specification and translation business requirements into application specifications
