'' Alright. So basically, we go hunt and whoever gets the most prey gets my/your share of food. '' Crystalfeather explained, determined to win.

'' I actually beat some apprentices a moon ago. ''




" Ohhh sounds cool " Ashfeather accepts the challenge





'' Great! I'll go west you go south. We meet backat camp at Sunhigh. '' And with that, Crystalfeather walked away for the hunt.

Crystalfeather got in the hunter's position and started stalking a mouse quietly,

She unsheathed her claws and pounced at the mouse but missed.




Ashfeather crawls towards a shrew

Crystalfeather decides to climb a tree, and finds a squirrel. Without thinking she leaps from branch to branch chasing the squirrel.




She pounces unsheathing her claws and catching the prey

" yess " ashfeather says quietly 





--At Sunhigh in camp--

'' Ugh, I can't believe I caught nothing!! ''




" Oh what, are you for real? "Ashfeather asks stunned, usually it seems Crystalfeather is the better hunter





'' Probably just me and my clumsiness.''

Crystalfeather tossed a robin at her friend's paws ''Here, my share of the prey. ''




" Well atleast you tried. Plus I have to admit that was pretty fun "





'' Ya. Wanna do it some other time? ''

Crystalfeather noticed that two kits, Riverkit and Stonekit, were staring at Leapstar intensly. 

'' What's up with them? ''

'' Stonekit, step forward.'' 




Ashfeathre bent forward touching noses and sitting proudly next to Riverpaw

Crystal sat down beside her apprentice and Ash.

'' We could have training together! This is gonna great! ''

We should ask Leapstar to bring our apprentices! ''

'' Wonder if Shadowstar (Leader of Sunclan) recovered from greencough? '' 

Crystalwing asked out loud, walking over also.




" Oh I hope. He/She seemed to be a good leader"

Leapstar led the group out of camp

Burnstar starts his update

" Mountainclan is doing fine, prey is slowly hiding but we are fine. No new apprentices but Wingpelt died to a badger attack on the clan. She served us well and rests with Starclan now





'' I heard alot about Wingpelt. She was such a great fighter! '' Crystalwing breathed, shocked of her death.




" Oh really? I didn't hear much but I knew she was a champion at battles! " Ashfeather murmurs under her breath





'' If only she was my mentor.. Snowstorm hated me. Didn't I tell you the time he clawed my neck? ''

'' Birchclan shall go back now, as we have many things to do. '' Leapstar said, jumping down and leading his clan back. 

Crystal followed behind Leapstar

'' Sooo, that crush of yours.. gonna try to talk to him? '' Crystalwing teased,

By accident she hits Leapstar's shoulder but keeps running into camp where she half trips.




Ash catches up and trips over Crystal





'' Clumsy furball. '' Crystalwing grins, and then lifts her head to tell everyone who Ash likes as a joke




" Ash panics and unseaths her claws in fear, tail bushed and dfur spikes





'' Ash, calm down! Gee!




Ash breaths and tries calming herself

" I DONT LIKE HIM " ash shrieks accodentally'





Everyone in camp stare at her

Crystalwing grab's Ashfeather's scruff and drags her in the Warrior's den

She then drops some moss on her back

'' Sleep! Tomorrow we have some apprentices to train. '' Crystalwing says

She lays down in her moss bed.




Ash doesn't struggle and just lays limp

Ash soon falls asleep

Ash decides to play a small prank on Crystal
