Many have asked if it cuts grass in reverse: NO, the mower does NOT cut in reverse. It does go in reverse, but it is a process: you have to completely press the clutch/brake, set the speed/brake lever, disengage the blades or the engine will go dead. Then you can move the lever to the reverse position. Then in order to go forward again...you have to do all this in reverse VERY frustrating and wastes a lot of time because each of these controls are in a different location on the mower.

The only dislike about this mower is you cant reverse while the mower is engaged

I had to put it together but that was no problem did it in about half hr. Only have three parts to assemble the seat, steering wheel,and motor cover.

A safety feature of this mower does NOT allow it to mow in reverse. If you have to do much backing up, you'll hate this feature. You must completely depress clutch/brake, set the speed/brake lever, disengage the PTO (blades) and the put the mower in reverse. Now repeat the process in reverse order to mow forward. VERY frustrating and wastes a lot of time.

I do recommend this little mower especially if you can defeat the unnecessary safety feature of not allowing reverse mowing.

If you turn wheel to sharp, then the wheels lose grip and mower slides a little.( I did not like this. I had this happen several times.

It wasn't completely assembled you have to put on the steering column, connect the battery, inflate the tires and a few other things but instructions were easy to follow. Anyone could put it together. Took me about 30 minutes.
