Ruby nudged Alex as the two of them continued to watch. "How much longer do you think she'll take?"
Alex shrugged and slowly stood up as he stretched his limbs. "I don't know, but to be honest I'm ready to call it quits for the day."
Citrine's eyes widened as she heard that Alex was gonna leave already. "Wait! B-but it's only eight!" Citrine twirled around and quickly made her way towards Alex, stopping him before he reached the door.
Alex stared at her strangely. Did she realize what she had just said? Like, at all. Alex sighed and shook his head. "Can I please go home?"
Citrine furiously shook her head and shoved him back, as she did, she felt a surge of power, a surge of electricity as she felt a spark in her left eye.
Sadly, Alex also felt the spark, in a non-pleasantry way, in fact it was pretty painful as a couple of thousand volts spikes throughout his body.
In the end, Alex stayed, and then afterward was taken to the hospital by Ruby, for playing with an electrical outlet.
