Mampu mendeteksi orang-orang yang dianggap mencurigakan. Dapat menghasilkan keturunan hingga 8 anak, dapat memiliki keturunan dengan kucing biasa dan anaknya akan menjadi Half-kneazle seperti kucing milik Hermione yang bernama Crookshanks.
Kumis Kneazle dapat digunakan sebagai inti tongkat sihir. Tetapi masih rendah dibandingkan tongkat sihir yang memiliki inti rambut Unicorn, bulu Phoenix, dan jantung Naga.
Pemilik Kneazle harus memiliki izin kepemilikan untuk merawat Kneazle. Penyihir yang senang merawat Kneazle adalah Arabella Figg.
