Below you will find the itinerary for the campout. A few notes to go along with this:
• We don’t have a meal planned for Friday night, so eat before you arrive if possible, however, Cracker Barrel (meat, cheese and crackers) will be available.
• For the chicken noodle soup on Saturday, each person should bring a can of chicken noodle soup or chicken broth. We will combine all these into one big pot.
• Each scout should prepare their own trail mix for the hike on Saturday. This should be something nutritious to keep energy levels up and we’d love for each boy to to explain what is in their trail mix and why.
• The schedule could change based on weather, or other factors.
Friday
• 5:00 p.m. (or later) – Arrivals, tent sent up
• 10:00 p.m. – Lights out
Saturday
• Breakfast – Burritos and/or Omelets in a bag
• Barnyard activities
• Lunch – Chicken noodle soup and Sandwiches
• Hiking
• Snack – Trail mix
• Dinner – Spaghetti and Meatballs
• Campfire show
• Lights out at 10:00 p.m.
Sunday
• Breakfast – Biscuits and gravy
• Pack up and head home
