(final cost of the product is proportional to the number of parts as the number of parts decrease the product quality and reliability will increase)

multi functional parts combine with severe functions into one part to reduce its complexity

reduce the amt of screws and screws type
as the fasteners is being reduce the assembly weight,cost and complexity will decrease
