Hello there,
We have seen your horse -NAME- advertised on horse quest. S/HE sounds as if S/HE may be suitable for me and my daughter. My daughter is 15 years old and has been riding for 8 years, she is described as a sensitive, quiet and capable rider. She is looking for a horse to compete in all three phases and start out eventing. She is capable of novice and elementary dressage movements at home but has competed in prelims, and we ideally would like a horse she can move up the levels with. She also thoroughly enjoys jumping however although she is a confident rider on the flat, due to some bad experiences jumping, when she doesn't know a horse she can be nervous especially as height increases, she has dealt with each ends of the scale jumping, incredibly strong and rushy horses, very dirty stoppers, and horses that are nervy of coloured poles/fillers, she is capable of jumping however would want something that can 'look after her' obviously with time and building a bond her confidence will grow and she is much more confident after the first time jumping a new horse, therefore it would be helpful to have a horse that would be tolerant of these nerves at first,but that could become more competitive as my daughter regains her confidence. My daughter has competed 70cm and 80cm classes around local shows, but is looking to progress in this field. We are ideally searching for a mother daughter share, I am a rusty happy hacker, I am knowledgeable, however as I am out of practice I don't look the prettiest. I would say I am a confident novice, and would like the horse to be safe for me to hack around country lanes and open fields, I would also like to try my hand at some le trec. My daughter and I have loaned a variety of horses for the past 4 years, therefore although we are first time buyers, we have experience in horse care/management etc. Our dressage instructor who has competed internationally at PSG will also be on board and advising us for suitable horses, therefore we have a good support system. We are equally as happy to be around horses/care for them as the riding aspects and your horse would receive 5* care in our hands.
