Sinopsis:
Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr) merupakan detektif dengan analisa tajam, dia mempunyai partner bernama Dr.Watson (Jude Law). Di London terdapat seorang pengguna sihir, Lord Blackwood yang telah membuat warga resah. Sherlock dan Watson berhasil menangkap Lord Blackwood saat sedang melakukan pengorbanan untuk gadis.
Blackwood dihukum hukuman gantung karena terbukti membunuh 5 wanita. Namun sebelum digantung, dia akan bangkit dan kembali melakukan sihir tersebut. Saat setelah menghadapi hukuman, Dr.Watson memastikan denyut nadinya sudah berhenti dan Blackwood meninggal. Ternyata Lord Blackwood masih hidup karena yang berada dalam makam tersebut bukan Blackwood. Sesuai dengan ucapannya, Blackwood kembali melakukan ritual sihir dan memperbanyak pengikutnya, Sherlock bersama Dr. Watson harus menghentikan kasus ini secara cepat sebelum semakin banyak yang mengalami kematian
