Notes

We are LeMoDeJae. Our names are Leslie, Monique, Delayla, and Janae and we consist of 5-7th graders. We are from an organization called YDO in Lawrence, MA and that has brought us here. We have crated a futuristic city called Paradise City and it will be located in Florida, our city is about 100 years into the future. We wanted to create a safe and fun place that welcomes everyone, but also has the nessecery compartments to a regular city.
In our city we will use use hydroelectric power plants to power energy when it's rainy and dark out, the rain water will spin the generator turbines,also ona daily basis we will use wind power so that energy is still being produced even when there is good and bad weather outside. The other types of natural resources that we'll be using to create energy are solar power and tidal power. There will be less green house gasses created so we will have a better enviroment to live in, and earth will last longer.
Through out our future city there will be an underground tubing system which will take you to your intended destination, you will be put in a bubble like object with seats and pass smoothly through the tubes. In order to get out of the bubble there will be a man who controls that and when you are at a dock, with just a touch of a button, the bubble will open from the top and move towards the bottom until you can finally step out.
In our city we have regular things a a city needs like a hospital, work areas, factories, houses, hotels, schools,etc...... but there are some special components to our city. We have a river that passes through Paradise city and allows us to use that as a source of energy and a beach is located in paradise city! The beach allows us to use tidal energy.
