Cerin (The Gastian) stalked through the dark wood, the purple-red bushes brushing against his dark fur noiselessly with every step. His large ears flicked up, and his red eyes gleamed through the ill-lit forest. His face tightened, but his eyes remained fix in a neutral, cold gaze. Then, he heard another's footsteps. "Who are you?" He called into the dark, his tone hard, and emotionless. A small pokemon stumbled forward, yellow-ish leaves sticking to her fur. Her (https://toyhou.se/414413.etherrin) pupil-less, yellow eyes were fixed on Cerin. To her, he was much bigger, and almost intimidating. "My name is Etherrin." She replied, trying to keep her voice level. Cerin's cold face did not change. This pokemon was somewhat young, and it was clear she was alone. "And are others with you?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "No, I am alone." Etherrin replied, almost bitterly. This was true, and it had been like that from the beginning. "Come with me." Cerin said, turning and beginning to stalk off. Etherrin had no trouble listening. What was there to lose? She had no possessions, very few memories, and she was terribly lost. She followed the total stranger into the dark woods, matching his pace almost exactly, but still remaining a few paces behind, and staring at the ground. She had no idea how long has past, surely only a few moments, but when she looked up again, the stranger has disappeared. "H-hello..." she called, looking around, and trying to conceal her panic. A thick fog had begun surface in the woods, and now she was alone again. She wandered, clueless as to where she was, and soon stumbled upon a dark cave, running into the dark grey rock. She lit a small Will-o-Whisp in her paw to illuminate the pitch-black cave. She jumped, startled to see Cerin, sitting in the dark, as if waiting for her. "What is your name." Etherrin questioned, skeptically. "Cerin." he replied. He paused for a moment, then spoke again. "I've taken a liking to you. And since you seem to be lost and alone, I'll take you under my wing, per say. If you would want too, that is." Cerin said. He too, had been alone for a very long time, and finally, he thought he had found his chance. "I have no where else to go." Etherrin said. "I'll stay."
