Velocity - The speed in a given direction
It is only velocity when there is a speed and a direction
Acceleration - The rate at which velocity changes
Acceleration = Final velocity - Initial velocity/Time
Acceleration refers to increasing speed. decreasing speed (deceleration), and changing direction
An object with a constant velocity cannot be accelerating
