A. Pada tahun 1994-1995, Turnamen Triwizard kembali diadakan. Namun ada banyak hal yang terjadi, yaitu
•> Yang pertama adalah perubahan profesor Pertahanan Terhadap Ilmu Hitam menjadi Alastor Moody.
•> Yang kedua adalah Turnamen Triwizard diadakan kembali. Pesertanya berasal dari tiga sekolah sihir, yaitu Hogwarts(Highlands, Scotland, Great Britain), Beauxbatons(Pyrenees, France.), dan Durmstrang(Scandinavia).
•> Berikutnya adalah bahwa Harry Potter, umur 14 tahun, entah mengapa menjadi salah satu peserta Triwizard.
B. Pendaftaran peserta Turnamen Triwizard dilakukan dengan memasukkan nama mereka ke dalam Goblet Api. di sekitar cawan tersebut, Dumbledore memasang sejenis mantra agar penyihir umur kurang dari 17 tahun tak bisa mendekati cawan itu dan memasukkan namanya. Karena itu, pihak Durmstrang dan Beauxbatons merasa curiga.
C. Selanjutnya adalah Potter bersama dengan tiga peserta lainnya—Cedric Diggory, Fleur Delacour, dan Viktor Krum—menjalankan 3 tantangan Turnamen Triwizard.
•> Pertama adalah mengambil telur emas dari naga
•> menyelamatkan orang yang dikasihi di Black Lake
•> dan menyelesaikan tantangan labirin untuk mengambil Piala Triwizard. Pada tantangan ini, Cedric Diggory mati dan Harry Potter menyaksikan kebangkitan kembali Lord Voldemort.
