The time is 11.30am and I am testing out a new tool called Notes.iO which was one of 7 note taking tools mentioned by Richard Byrnes today on his excellent website: freetech4teachers.
According to the instructions, one is able to type out notes as I am doing now and simply by clicking on the short icon above, it will give me a reduced URL which I can then post to any other site I wish.
I am planning on trying it out now . . . and posting it onto Twitter to see if it works!
As you know, using Twitter is fast but one is limited to short messages of 140 characters maximum.
However, If one gives each note a headline/topic, and posts only the topic onto Twitter, that will be enough to alert people that there is a longer message for them . . . OK so lets give it a try!
