I had placed an order on 6 Aug for a "Golden Alloy Necklace". I was informed that it would be delivered by 18 Aug. It was the first time I had placed an online order which asked me a time period of 12 days for a product's delivery (I have never been asked, by any online website, for more than 5 days to deliver an order) but I was all right with it assuming that it might be rare piece or there might be some issues with where the item might be coming from.
Then after waiting for 12 days for my order I get an SMS (notice I didn't get an email regarding this crucial information despite of all the spams you send me without fail everyday) saying the order will be delayed and if it isn't delivered today EOD it will be delivered by 22nd Aug. I have 2 comments for this:
This shows that you yourself aren't sure what the status of the order is and if it would get delivered today or not (other sites are able to track down my order's exact time BTW)
Needless to say Bravo on your commendable job and your courage to ask for more time after asking for a period of "12 days".
Well, just so that you know, I had placed that order for my sister as a gift on Rakshabandhan (I hope an Indian will read this and knows what that is) and she sounded very happy remaining gift-less that day. Now whether you deliver the order or keep it with yourself (I expect you return money), you can very well rest assured I am not typing "jabong.com" in my browser again.
