I met a girl on cupid a few weeks ago. We started texting. Everything going swell. Our messages kept getting longer and longer, writing basically a novel between us. On Wednesday, we met up for a date. It lasted 4 hours. In all merits it was a success. I kissed her, we even held hands as corny as that is, lots to talk about, she laughed, close body contact the whole time, etc..
2 hours After the date she texted me saying she had a great time and that I was nicer than she thought I'd be and all of that good stuff. We kept texting over the night. Finally I went to sleep.
When I woke up, she had replied to my final message before I fell asleep, but only to about half of what I had sent. Thought that was odd, but I figured perhaps she was just busy / in a rush. I replied back, and so far, there's no response. That was yesterday at 4 pm. So it's been 28 hours.
I am very, very confused. In every conceivable way I look at this, we're both really into each other. I know fading can happen at any time but this doesn't seem like the standard fade before even going on a date, or a fade after a bad date..
So my question is, should I text her again? Should I wait some more? For reference, she's never taken more than a couple hours to respond to me before. And to reiterate, they're always long messages.
I was thinking of just sending one extra text asking if she's doing well, if she's okay, or something like that. Hard to structure it without sounding a bit needy I guess but I don't want to completely give up hope on this one.
