The fall of Western Roman Empire (400 - 500 AD).

Roman Empire became so big, it was difficult to gobern the whole empire, so Diocletian divided Byzantine Empire and Roman Empire. The latter fell because of Odoacer, a Germanic Leader.

- Origins and expansion of Islam (600 – 1200 AD).

Islam started to spread after Muhammad, the Prophet, died. Jihad was one of the main factors that helped Islam spread. Jihad means "a war against the unbelievers".

- The Mongol Empire (1200 – 1400 AD).

The Mongols were an empire that had great army, tolerance, and more. Mongols were dominant on the 13th century.

- The Indian Ocean Trade (700 – 1400 AD).

The Indian Ocean Trade was a way to trade from China, India, Africa, and Arabia

- The beginning of bourgeoisie (800 AD)

Bourgeoisie are people that have middle-class characteristics

- The first capitalist (900 – 1400 AD).

Capitalism had many innovations in banking, insurance, accountancy, and so on. Capitalism was mainly for profit.

- Venice and the Ottomans (1200 – 1400 AD).

Venice was, like many other empires, succesful in the means of army, but Venice had navy instead of the army. The Ottomans beat Constantinople, so they were important.

- Medieval Leisure and Recreation

Fairs were like Carnivals, Leaders sponsored them, and were very important. Their religion, executions, and tournaments were why Fairs are important.

The execution was live and people could see it, Religion was the reason for their celebrations, and tournaments were to release anger, instead of making actual war.
