in the triangular A-B process there is a theory that we can even disrupt the how process within it.for example how does deep breaths help me relieve stress--->answer because probably it distracts you from your thoughts about future and past.(the usual process:1-do i need to be distracted? 2-how to be distracted elseway?)
question:am i not trying not to think about past by the previous process
2-don't think about the future and past so think about the present.
or i want to focus on something the best thing to think of is about stuff in present.

how to understand a novel approach? by figuring out its purpose and how does it reach that.
therefore there should be lots of definings because sometimes you don't have a clear idea of the purpose.Therefore you can't have a specific answer for the how part.
so in my recent exprience when i was trying to figure out how wind contributes to feeling cold,i came across this problem that what is the exact definition of coldness and temperature.
but sometimes the definitions also helps us to develop an existing approach.
