Review- The book I read was Split by Swati Avasthi and it's about a boy named jace finding out that his dad is abusive towards his mum then he goes and starts to fight his dad a loses the fight and gets kicked out from his house and is also threatened that if jace tries to come back that his dad would kill his mum. while jace is driving to go see his brother christian in albuquerque new mexico he finds out that his mum is gonna leave his dad and come live with jace and christian. while jace is living with his brother he starts a new school and gets a job at a library. after a couple months jace's mom still hasn't come so jace decides to go and get his mom and cristian comes with him. after they drive back to chicago jace tries to get his mom to come with him back but the mom says no and stays with her husband. then jace and christian drive back without their mom and don't ever go back to chicago.
Recommendations- I don't really recommend the book to anyone

Most Important Scene- the most important scene in the story has to be when jace is driving to go see his brother because that's when he starts to think about what's gonna happen to his mum and his brother
