AGONY! PAIN! Why does this hurt so much? Are these made out of knife blades? I'll do anything to eliminate this pain..

Let's skip back a bit, I remember my first guitar lesson. I just got a new guitar, got a coach/teacher and got was SOOOO excited!

I learnt the basic few chords, and started executing them.

My teacher kept telling me, 'If you want it to sound better, push your fingers down on the strings harder.'

And the harder I pushed down, the better the guitar sounded.. however the pain increased too..

Of course this pain goes away fairly quickly as your fingers get used to the strings and chords, however I remember repeating..

'I wish I could eliminate this pain, whilst still getting better guitar results'
(Ok, of course I'm over-exaggerating the pain, but here's where I'm getting to :-) )

Here's the marketing lesson:

If someone offered me a product/tip/strategy/solution to stop the pain of the guitar strings, I would just pull out my credit card immediately and buy it.

People don't buy products, they buy solutions to solve 'pains' in their life

People have all kinds of bigger pains in life like, lack of time, not enough money, lack of freedom, being in a job they hate, not getting to spend enough time with their kids, body pain, etc.

And you have to link the product your selling, and sell the pain you will solve.

Of course, researching, discovering, targeting, and selling that pain is hard.
Creating sales letters that ''sell the solution to someones pain'' is very hard.
