BUNGA COKLAT
bunga coklat atau yang sering disebut bunga bawang sebrang ini memiliki nama latin Zephyranthes candida. bunga ini termasuk dalam tanaman obat keluarga selain karena mempunyai khadiat untuk obat sehari hari, tapi juga karena wujudnya yang cantik. tanaman bawang sebrang termasuk dalam keluarga Amaarilidaceae sejenis bawang-bawangan. Kembang coklat memiliki daun yang berbentuk pipih, panjang, dan melengkung. Permukaan daunnya licin dan mengkilap. bentuk bijinya pipih berwarna warna hitam, sedangkan umbi yang terbentuk biasanya berwarna putih dan mengandung lendir.
memiliki banyak jenis, kesamaan pada bentuk, yang paling menonjol perbedaannya terdapat pada bunganya. Daunnya mengandung saponin, alkalloida, tannin dan glukosida. mengandung antipiretik. Yaitu semacam zat penurun suhu tubuh. tapi tak hanya antipiretik saja dapat membantu mereda penyakit sehari hari.
1. yang oertama adalah obat sakit kepala cara meramunya daun Bunga Coklat dicuci, lalu direbus dengan air sampai mendidih selama 15 menit. Lalu saring dan minum setelah dingin.
2. Obat sulit Tidur: Umbi atau daun segar Bunga Coklat sebanyak (10 gram) dicuci lalu direbus dengan (400ml) air selama 15 menit, disaring setelah dingin diminum, 2 kali sehari pagi dan sore hari.
3. Epilepsi: Rebus (10 gram) umbi tanaman Bunga Coklat dengan gula batu, lalu minum setiap hari dipagi hari.
