Seperti yang sudah kalian ketahui, Pemerintah telah membuat dan menetapkan sebuah program yang bernama literasi, dimana kalian sebagai pelajar diwajibkan untuk melakukan kegiatan membaca sebuah buku selain daripada buku akademik, dan kemudian menulisnya kembali. Program ini ditetapkan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya membaca. Untuk melaksanakan program ini, murid diwajibkan untuk mempunyai minimal satu buah buku bacaan untuk dibaca tiap harinya sebelum kegiatan belajar mengajar dimulai. Adapun buku tersebut dapat dimiliki dengan cara membeli buku, baik baru atau bekas; dan juga dapat dengan meminjam, baik kepada perpustakaan sekolah, toko buku, ataupun dengan teman lainnya. Kemudian, setelah buku habis dibaca, murid dapat membuat laporan berupa tulisan dari bahan bacaan yang dibaca. Setelah laporan tersebut telah dibuat dan diserahkan kepada pihak sekolah, murid dapat mulai membaca buku yang lainnya lagi untuk melanjutkan program literasinya.
