Billywig adalah serangga yang berasal dari australia. Panjangnya sekitar 1,25 cm dan berwarna biru safir. Kecepatan dari billywig begitu tinggi hingga jarang dilihat oleh muggle dan sering kali tidak di perlihatkan oleh penyihir sampai mereka kena sengat.
Sayap billywig menempel dipuncak kepalanya dan berputar sangat cepat. Dibagian bawah tubuhnya terdapat srngat yang tipis panjang. Akibat jika disengat oleh billywing , mereka akan merasakan pusing yang diikuti melayang-layang.
