Pembunuhan yang dilakukan oleh psikopat.
Pada 1 Juni 2004, seorang siswi 11 tahun yang namanya disamarkan sebagai "Girl A" (Berinisial A), membunuhnya teman sekelasnya, Satomi Mitarai (12 tahun) di kelas kosong saat makan siang di sebuah sekolah dasar di Jepang.
Dari sana terlihat jelas, Girl-A menggorok leher dan lengan Mitarai dengan pisau lipat. :# Dia kemudian meninggalkan tubuh Mitarai ini di lokasi pembunuhan dan kembali ke kelas dengan pakaian berlumuran darah. Akhirnya gurunya menangkap basah dirinya dan menemukan tubuh Mitarai yang sudah tak bernyawa.
Setelah dibawa kepolisian, Girl-A mengakui kejahatan tersebut dan mengatakan bahwa dia dan Mitarai telah bertengkar akibat komentar di internet. Rupanya mereka terlibat pertengkaran dan memuncak saat Mitarai mengejeknya sok baik, sok alim, dll.
Akhirnya tanggal 15 September 2004, Pengadilan Jepang memutuskan untuk membawanya ke fasilitas pemasyarakatan remaja yang dikelola negara selama empat tahun.
