Pada suatu siang yang panas, Bejo sedang asik memakan soto dengan lahap mangkuk demi mangkuk, sehingga kalau diibaratkan obat, Bejo telah overdosis.
Sesudah kenyang, Bejo bergegas pulang dengan perut buncit. Ditengah jalan Bejo mengalami kecelakaan, untungnya Bejo tidak apa-apa, namun apesnya, kecelakaan itu memakan korban yaitu sendal Bejo.
Dengan terpaksa Bejo berjalan tanpa alas kaki. Deritanya bertambah karena rumahnya masih jauh. Akhirnya Bejo memilih pergi untuk membeli sendal, namun apa daya, uangnya tinggal 500 rupiah.
Mendadak Bejo mempunyai ide. Ia berniat untuk mencuri sendal, ternyata rencananya berjalan mulus, ia mendapat sendal berwarna ungu. Bejo bergaya seolah pemilik sendal itu.
Tidak diduga pemilik aslinya sadar bahwa Bejo mencuri sendalnya, "Woy, maling, maling sendal!" Teriak pemilik sendal tersebut. Seperti ibu-ibu mengejar diskon akhir tahun, pemilik sendal tersebut berlari mengejar Bejo. Apesnya Bejo, perutnya yang buncit membuatnya mudah tertangkap.
Tidak diduga, pemilik sendal tersebut melaporkan tindakan Bejo ke polisi.
