Bunga coklat atau yang sering disebut bunga bawang sebrang ini memiliki nama latin Zephyranthes candida.<br>

Bunga ini termasuk dalam tanaman obat keluarga selain karena mempunyai khasiat untuk obat sehari hari, tapi juga karena wujudnya yang cantik.<br>

Tanaman bawang sebrang termasuk dalam keluarga Amaarilidaceae sejenis bawang-bawangan.<br>
Kembang coklat memiliki daun yang berbentuk pipih, panjang, dan melengkung. Permukaan daunnya licin dan mengkilap. Bentuk bijinya pipih berwarna warna hitam, sedangkan umbi yang terbentuk biasanya berwarna putih dan mengandung lendir.<br>

Daunnya mengandung saponin, alkalloida, tannin dan glukosida. Lalu zat lainnya terkandung pada umbi dan kelopak pada bunganya. Salah satu efek farmakologis di dalamnya adalah mengandung antipiretik. Yaitu semacam zat penurun suhu tubuh. tapi tak hanya antipiretik saja. Bunga ini dapat membantu mereda penyakit sehari-hari.<br>

Pertama yaitu sakit kepala. Cara meramunya daun Bunga Coklat dicuci, lalu direbus dengan air sampai mendidih, lalu saring dan minum.<br>
<br>
Kedua Insomnia. Caranya, umbi Bunga Coklat dicuci lalu direbus, disaring dan diminum setelah dingin. diminum 2x sehari, pagi dan sore hari.<br>
<br>
Ketiga Epilepsi. Panaskan air menggunakan api kecil lalu masukkan umbi kembang coklat dan sedikit gula batu. Biarkan mendidih lalu angkat. Diminumkan setiap hari.
