Naruto patted his belly, sighing contently as he pushed the empty ramen bowl aside. "Thank you for buying, Iruka-sensei."

Iruka smiled at the seven-year-old before remembering how much this would probably end up costing because of Naruto's large stomach. "You're welcome Naruto... so how was your first day at the academy?" He asked hoping to hear something nice about his teaching skills.

"It was pretty cool, except for the teacher. He was a buzzkill." Naruto yawned, resting his arms behind his head as the goggles on his head shifted to the side.
Iruka glared at Naruto, "Well, maybe if you actually paid attention in my class!" He scolded Naruto, only for Naruto to shrug.

"I blame the distractions." Naruto placed his forearms on the tables wood as he took off his goggles, placing them in his pocket and letting them dangle.

"Distractions?" Iruka said with a curious tone. For the three years he had spent protecting Naruto, he had noticed for someone who played dumb and played pranks on the village, he had always seemed aware of his surroundings, more than a chunin would usually be.

"You know..." Naruto allowed a slight blush to creep onto his face. "Sakura-Chan."

Iruka gained a large grin as he playfully nudged Naruto. "So you've got a crush on Sakura eh?" He saw Naruto's face become redder than the previously mentioned girl's hair.

"Iruka-sensei..." Naruto groaned, hiding his face into his empty ramen bowl. Iruka just grinned as he ate some of his own ramen. Naruto ordered another bowl and the two ate in silence. Iruka bit his lip as he thought of something to strike up a conversation.

"So, Naruto, what do you want to be when you're older?" Iruka pushed the now empty ramen bowl to the side to face his student. Naruto seemed to be thinking of an answer before a large grin appeared on the seven-year old's face. "What's your dream?

"My dream..." Naruto said thoughtfully, he was now spinning his fork in his ramen, playing with it. Iruka tilted his head, curious as to why. Naruto hadn't seemed like the type to want such a high commanding leadership role. "My dream is to the Hokage so everyone in the village could respect me." This time, he spoke louder, with more confidence. "So that way, nobody in this village could hate me anymore, and everybody would be able to look up at me, Naruto Uzumaki, the Hokage of the Leaf Village!"

Teuchi, the owner of Ichiraku Ramen smiled from inside the kitchen as he heard the boy. "You know, it's almost like he becomes more like them every day. Almost like they never left." He heard his daughter, Ayame, whisper to him. "He has Minato's dreams-"

"And Aunt Kushina's attitude." She smiled at her father as she cleaned a bowl, which was from earlier when Naruto had almost five bowls of ramen. The twelve-year-old brunette hummed as she continued to wash bowl, her father simply reminiscing about Minato Namizake and Kushina Uzumaki.
Meanwhile on the other-side of the village, something less enjoyable. Sasuke whimpered as he saw his father's lifeless body fall to the ground. "I-Itachi! Stop!" He begged his elder brother, Itachi seemed to ignore him as he started to walk towards his younger brother, no emotion in his eyes.

"Itachi, please!" Itachi paused, froze almost as he heard his mother plead. Itachi bit his lower lip hard, causing it to bleed as he turned around and started to walk towards his mother. Mikoto Uchiha slowly started to walk back, fearing her own son. Itachi took noticed and felt as if he had received a hand through his chest. Itachi raised his hand, getting ready to strike his mother before finding himself not strong enough to do so. He mentally cursed himself and gave her a chop to the neck, knocking her unconscious.

Itachi then started to make his way towards the doorway. Sasuke, unaware that Itachi hadn't killed his mother then felt angered. "Itachi!" He yelled after his brother, standing up with his fist clenched. Itachi ignored him and continued to move forward. "Itachi!" Sasuke called again, his eyes slowly turning from black to red as his Sharingan awakened itself. Itachi paused and turned his head, activating his Sharingan, the Mangekyo Sharingan almost piercing through his younger brother's soul. Sasuke's eyes widened as a genjutsu took place and caused him to faint.

Itachi coldly walked out of the almost lifeless Uchiha compound, feeling only a small portion of remorse as he suddenly vanished in the night.
