2)Cấu tạo
-Có hai loại bút bi chính: loại dùng một lần và loại có thể nạp lại mực.
-Loại dùng một lần chủ yếu được làm từ nhựa dẻo hay nhựa cứng và bỏ đi khi dùng hết mực.
- Loại có thể nạp lại mực thường được làm bằng kim loại hoặc nhựa có chất lượng cao và dĩ nhiên giá thành cao hơn.
3)Nguyên lý hoạt động

-Khi viết, bi lăn truyền mực ra ngoài và khô ngay lập tức khi chạm mặt giấy.
