Terms & Conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

A. Organiser and Eligibility

Sangobion Guess the Iron-Rich Food Contest is organised by Merck Sdn Bhd (“Merck”).
This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. You are providing your information to Merck and not to Facebook.
Anyone who has 'liked' ‘Sangobion Malaysia’ Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SangobionMalaysia) is eligible to participate.
Employees, agencies and relatives of employees working with Merck are prohibited from participating in this contest.

B. Contest Mechanics

To participate, you must:
Step 1: Like this post (<insert link to post here>) and the Sangobion Malaysia Facebook page.
Step 2: Click on the animated GIF. Click again to stop it from continuing.
Step 3: Guess the iron-rich food shown to you
Step 4: Enter the answer in the comments, eg. ‘A) Mussels’
Important note: ONLY answer for one image and only one answer. Those that answer multiple images will not qualify.
All entries must be received by our system by 23:59 (Malaysia Time) of <insert date here> to qualify. Late and invalid entries will not be entertained. The time is based on our server’s system time.
Each Facebook profile is entitled to one entry only. Multiple entries may result in disqualification.

C. PRIZES

First 20 contestants to guess correctly will each win a RM10 Aeon Jusco Voucher.

D. PRIZE REDEMPTION

Winners will be announced on Sangobion Malaysia Facebook page.
Winners will have to PM us their Full Name, Delivery Address, Phone Number, and Email Address within fourteen (14) days after the result announcement, failing which, their prize shall be forfeited.
The prize will be mailed to the winners within 4 weeks after the submission of contact details via PM.
Unclaimed prizes will be fortified within 3 months after announcement.

E. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

By entering this contest, you agree:

To the use of your name and/or likeness and any other information sought and provided, without compensation for Merck’s promotional and marketing purposes; and
to the use of the information submitted on the contest entry form, without compensation, for Merck’s promotional and marketing purposes; and
to the use of your answers and pictures to the questions for Merck’s promotional and marketing purposes.
To use the pictures taken during the lucky draw collection in our shop front or website or any other chosen medium to publicise our winner list.

Each individual participating in this lucky draw acknowledges that:

In respect of any personal information disclosed by him/her to Merck, or obtained by Merck from him/her pursuant to this application;
He/she is authorised to disclose such personal information; such disclosure shall comply with local data privacy laws, within the geographical scope of the competition, and the use of such personal information by Merck as contemplated by this application (including, without limitation, the disclosure of such personal information to Merck’s external agencies or third parties involved in the running of the Sangobion Guess the Iron-Rich Food Contest).
He/she can contact Merck to request that you be provided with access to, or to correct any inaccuracies in your personal data. You may also opt out of any of the terms of this Policy by withdrawing from participating in the Sangobion Guess the Iron-Rich Food Contest.

F. DISCLAIMERS

Participants in this contest agree to the Terms and Conditions of this contest.
The judges’ decision is final on all matters pertaining to this contest. No further correspondence or appeals will be entertained. Appeals to check on the status of entries will not be entertained.
All decisions and selection of winning entries are finalised by Merck.
Appeals and requests for amendments will not be entertained.
Participants may be contacted by Merck via Facebook PM when deemed necessary.
Merck reserves the right to replace any prize with a different one if said prize runs out of stock.
Merck may utilise the winners’ names, and/or photographs plus their entries for the purposes of advertising, publicity and/or trade, without any prior notice and each participant is not entitled to claim ownership and/or other forms of compensation on the materials.
Merck reserves the right to amend the contest mechanics, terms & conditions at any time without prior notice.
