- THIS IS MY OPINION
so please respect everything I say throughout this theory. If you enjoyed this theory, please smack that like button! Lets start:
Latest Blog:
So today's theory is, why doesn't Ash bring his old Pokemon to the next regions? This doesn't just apply for the Aloha region(2017-2018), but every single region, starting with Kanto. So lets think about this for a second. Each Region always has new Pokemon, looking away from the national Pokedex. Ash caught approximately 32 Pokemon in Kanto and other regions since the writers dont want the season to be "too long"(even though 3 seasons of Armorshipping was fine-_-).
Some of you might be saying," B-b-but Ash will be stronger if he brings those Pokemon to the new season, and might even beat the Pokemon league!'' Ash, still being 10, still acting foolish about Pokemon, will be stubborn enough to not realize this. So here are some reasons why I think that he will probably never bring new Pokemon.
1. The Writers Want Him To Fail
The writers control Ash, which means they can do anything they want to him. Out of all these 19 seasons, has Ash ever won a Pokemon League? No, because they want to "continue the anime". This is the most overused statement I've heard of. If Ash wins 1 League, there is no way that he should call himself a "Pokemon Master". Why? HE WOULD ONLY HAVE 1 LEAGUE COMPLETED. He needs to finish many more to become one, which means that the anime will still continue.
Going back on topic, the writers would not want Ash to bring his Pokemon to other regions because winning the leagues will be so much easier, since he(actually)knows how to control them. So what is a better way to make Ash lose than to make him start new with Pokemon he has no idea how to fight with. Tbh, I think I explain pretty good, but long.
2. Ash Wants To Start New
This is weird to say, but Ash might know what he is doing, maybe. Ash wants to put all of his Pokemon in Prof. Oak's lab to start new. Since he used the old Pokemon to battle in the leagues, and lost, he thinks that he should get a new set of Pokemon either because he wants his Pokemon to rest for a BIG while, or that he thinks his Pokemon are weak.
Look at the way the authors brutally take the strongest Pokemon in his team and kick them out of the team by making excuses. "Oh, Ash-Greninja is back at the forest since he has to save Kalos".
3. More Old Pokemon, Less New Pokemon
The final reason that I have up my sleeve is that if he did bring his old Pokemon with him, lots of the new Pokemon would go back to Oak without Ash not meeting it. You can only have 6 Pokemon in your real team right? As Ash takes away some of the new Pokemon away from his team, like always, he brings new in. Would he win the leagues with old and new Pokemon? My answer is no, since the writers never want him to win.
[B]OUTCOME
So basically Ash would never bring his old Pokemon to new regions because something weird might happen, Ash winning the leagues with them is increasing by rate, Ash wants to start new, and that he wont have enough space. If you dont agree with me, I have provided much proof above.
END

Thanks for reading and if you enjoyed this theory that took 1 hour and 15 minutes to make(i use a lot of time on stuff), please share this with a friend, but also smack that like button! Hopefully I will see you later!
