I purchased I “Redmi Note 3” but upon delivering the item (sealed pack) I noticed that Redmi did not provide any headset in the box. The next day I connected my “Philips SHE1405BK/94” headset to it but that did not work, then I connected “Sony MDR-EX150AP” headset but unfortunately that did not work too. I thought maybe “Redmi Note 3” does not supports headsets of other brands so I called a friend who has a “Redmi Note 3” too & using a “Sennheiser CX 275s” along with the mobile. He arrived after four or five days & connected the “Sennheiser CX 275s” headset to my “Redmi Note 3”. That’s when I realized that my newly bought “Redmi Note 3” is not working properly as the headset is not being detected six to seven out of ten times. I removed & reinserted the headset plug many times but the result remained same. Then I requested flipkart to pick the phone up & replace it if needed. Now the worst part was till about to come…I work in a sector where I have to submit my mobile phone before entering to the office premises. So every time when I buy anything I always include a friend’s number who lives near my house just to guide the delivery man if he needs any assistance regarding the address. My name is Sanjoy Routh, so the invoice was issued in my name but the contact number which was given of my friend’s for delivery assistance.
Now after submitting the reverse pickup request, filpkart send an email to my registered mail address informing me that the reverse pickup request was cancelled. I checked the email & found that, a phone call has been made & based upon the conversation the reverse pickup request was cancelled & I did not receive any call from flipkart. Now I bought that phone at the price of 11999.00 INR which was also available for less expensive price on other Ecommerce sites but I preferred flipkart because of your service quality & return policy. But unfortunately when I called your customer care executive named “Asif” he just did not help me at all instead of that after about an hour of talking, he informed me that, there is no fault of anyone’s at all, it’s the flipkart policy to call on the number which is given on the address. So if that’s true I would like to know that, If I buy a product for someone else, should I mention my own number on the address? In that case (as the address of delivery is not mine) how can the contact number help the delivery person at the time of delivery? Another thing I would like to know that, if I buy something but for any reason I choose to receive the item at another person’s address at a different city, should I give my number on that address? You can understand the point I am referring here…
Moreover Mr. Asif was deliberately trying to make the mistake up by providing all misleading information like its flipkart policy to call the number mentioned in the address instead of the registered number in case of any return or replacement. He also informed that there is no fault of anyone’s in this matter. His way of talking was not at all supportive moreover he was like a robot who was just there to read the scripts out to the customers. This type of employees are ruining the goodwill of flipkart, it’s just because of Mr. Asif & the person who cancelled the return request without even calling me, are responsible I will never ever buy anything from flipkart again. Mr. Asif also asked me to bypass this matter & trying to convince me by assuring another reverse pickup by some app but if I bypass the matter, what about the whole “Dipawali” evening which just got spoiled by this action of that unknown person who cancelled the return request without even calling me. If flipkart had any doubt regarding the contact number on which I should be contacted, flipkart could have emailed me asking the number or they could have ask the matter over email instead of phone call. This two guys are just unbelievable, this kind of irresponsible behavior was not expected from flipkart. Terrible experience…
