1.กระแสนิยมรถมอเตอร์ไซค์ในประเทศไทย อดีต - ปัจจุบัน

- เมื่อประมาณ 10-15 ปีก่อน ประเทศไทยนิยมรถมอเตอร์ไซค์ทั่วไป แต่ไม่นิยมรถมอเตอร์ไซค์ขนาดใหญ่(บิ๊กไบค์) เพราะมีราคาสูง ขี่ยาก ตัวเลือกน้อย ตลาดบิ๊กไบค์จึงไม่มีคนลงทุนและเงียบหายไป
- ประมาณ พ.ศ. 2548 Kawasaki นำ KSR เข้ามาขาย ในตอนนั้นแทบจะไม่มีคนรู้จัก รู้จักกันแค่ในวงแคบๆ ต่อมาก็แพร่หลายมากขึ้นจนเปลี่ยนกระแสรถมอเตอร์ไซค์ได้(บูม)
- ถัดมาอีก 3 ปี ประมาณปี พ.ศ. 2551 kawasaki นำ ninja250r เข้าสู่ตลาดเมืองไทยเป็นครั้งแรก นับเป็นยุคบุกเบิกของตลาดรถมอเตอร์ไซค์บิ๊กไบค์ในประเทศไทยจนถึงทุกวันนี้
- ต่อมา ตลาดรถมอเตอร์ไซค์เปิดกว้างมากขึ้น เริ่มมีการแข่งขันกันมากขึ้น แบรนด์มอเตอร์ไซค์หลายๆเจ้าตัดสินใจลงทุนมากขึ้น
- ตัวอย่างเช่น > Honda เปิดตัวรถบิ๊กไบค์พร้อมกัน 6 รุ่น Kawasaki เจาะตลาดบิ๊กไบค์ขนาด 650cc รวมไปถึง Yamaha , Suzuki เองก็มีความกล้าที่จะลงทุนเพิ่มมากขึ้น อีกทั้งแบรนด์ยุโรปอย่าง BMW หรือ Ducati ก็กล้าที่จะวางฐานการประกอบรถมอเตอร์ไซค์ไว้ที่ประเทศไทย
- มีการผลิตรถในระดับต่างๆเข้าสู่ตลาดเพื่อเป็นตัวเลือกให้กับผู้บริโภค
- ปัจจุบันมีตัวเลือกเยอะ และลูกค้าทุกกลุ่มสามารถเข้าถึงได้ แม้กระทั่งกลุ่มวัยรุ่นมัธยม ตลาดรถมอเตอร์ไซค์มีอัตราการเติบโตเพิ่มมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆและไม่มีทีท่าว่าจะหยุด
- ส่งผลดีไปถึงธุรกิจอื่นๆ เช่น อุปกรณ์การขับขี่ อุปกรณ์ตกแต่งรถมอเตอร์ไซค์ ร้านเช่ารถ ฯลฯ
- แต่ก็มีผลเสีย คือ อัตราการเกิดอุบัติเหตุบนท้องถนนเพิ่มสูงขึ้น
