The practice is using an older IQ Express Fax card which is not formally compatible for use with Windows 7 OS (and I informed Chukka of this when installing the drivers for them initially about a week ago). They are able to make and receive a call from the modem with the line connected on IQFSP Device 0, but the audio quality sounds poor and when transmitting a test fax it is either failing, or when transmitting outbound it is showing that the error correction is getting shut off. If the practice is using a VoIP line it is recommended to use an analog line to fax over as VoIP can shut off the ECM during transmissions resulting in errors and failed faxes. Ultimately they would want to consult with their telephone company regarding the fax line and any adjustments that could be made to help improve the line quality.
