notes :
1. container and cargo storage are reckoned on per day basis
2. cargo storage charges are rekoned from the day of carting or destuffing to the date of stuffing or delivery for export and import cargo respectively.
3. cargo requiring any special services like dunnage, lashing materials, or additional equipment for handling will be charged additionally on case to case basis.
4. cha will be required to pay customs overtime (mot) for any work done at cfs beyond normal hours and on holidays
5. all cheques to be drawn in favour of a---------- and co cfs" payable at gandhidham. if payment is made through third party cheque a letter from the party is required for making payment on behalf of the importer or cha
6. pd account or pre deposit account facility is available for easy transactions.
7. it is presumed that all export consignments arriving at cfs are adequately insured against all possible risks during transportation, operations, storage .. etc and the cfs assumes no liabilities. An undertading from the shipper or exporter needs to be provided in advance.
8. in case of hazardous goods like cotton, fabrics etc a copy of valid insurance policy has to be providedin advance by the shipper or their forwarders
9. levies, penalties, fines etc imposed by the government judicial quasi etc will be recovered from the concerned party.
10. stamp duty @ 1 re per 1000 rs or 0.1% shall be applicable or payable to the governmnet of gujarat in their nominated bank. the original stamp duty receipt, pranked on the approved document i.e. delivery order, has to be provided before delivery of the imported goods, in addition to other documents.
11. prior to movement of export container and delivery of import cargo the cfs dues shall be paid
12. service tax and other government taxes shall be charged separately at rates applicable.
13. movement request for export container shall be given at least 10 hours prior to container terminal gate cut off time
14. charges for cleaning / dumping of spilled liquid cargo or any cargo due to any reason has to be paid by cha. in case the cargo is rejected for delivery by customs or any other regulating authority like district, , drug controller , port health officer, plant quarantine authority etc all the expenses related to the disposal shall be provided by the cha
15. hazardous cargo declaration with all the details may be provided for safe handling, stacking and segregation as per norms . the cfs reserves the right to allow or reject specific cargo in their premises.
16. in case of any damage to container for whatever reason or whomsoever's fault, the cha has to settle th e matter of repairing the contianer with the shipping line directly.
17. carting of cotton bales and haz cargo will be allowed only till 17.00 hours to avoid any unwanted risk to the cargo.
