Hi Shanel Cooper my name is Nazeli Mkrtchyan and I have just recently become a permanent teacher at Grabt Early Education Center after being a substitute teacher for 6 years. However, the teacher we taught in my classroom before ransacked the place and did not leave anything behind except for some run down, broken toys. On my first two weeks on the job, I noticed that the kids were bored and I wasn't able to effectively plan any lessons or projects. There are little to no resources and I feel so bad looking at my students' bored faces. I really truly care about the education of my students and want to be as effective as possible as a teacher. I want my students to come into class with a smile on their faces and for them to have fun in class while they learn at the same time. I created a project on donorschoose.org called manipulatives and puzzles for preschoolers and any donation will help. I am turning to you for help and to put smiles on our future generation. I tried my best to take money out of my pocket to buy supplies and tools, however I am a single mom with two kids. I am not able to spend as much money as I want. I have already spent over $300 out of pocket and i am begging for your help. Anything will help. THANK YOU!
