Avanos Medical and FDA issued a Class 1 recall of 629 CORTRAK*2 Enteral Access System, which is a feeding tube positioning device that has been implicated in numerous injuries and deaths.

Avanos Medical The recall will update the label of the device so that it can make it clear to users that the tube is correctly placed prior to feeding.
