After Bayrock Group's success Tevfik Arif was driven to be more ambitious. He wanted to focus on bigger projects, therefore he changed Bayrock Group's strategy.

The Bayrock Group was already working together with the Sapir Organization on a project on Spring Street in Manhattan’s SoHo quarter.

Bayrock Group would be able to incorporate the Trump Organization into this project, which would improve Bayrock Group as well as the Sapir Organization; Tevfik Alif may have an established brand name.

Arif made an agreement with Arif that gave the Trump Organization 18% ownership of the building in exchange for using the Trump logo.

Bayrock Group, Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization approved this deal.

The very first brick for Donald Trump SoHo's new building was laid in the year 2006.

The structure was built over two years, and was completed for the opening ceremony in the following two years.

Bayrock Group, while active in the United States, invested more $2.5 million in real assets.
