Blizzard said it had shut down fan-created servers to recreate World of Warcraft's launch experience a year ago: They were creating an official retro server.
World of Warcraft Classic promised to provide players with the "vanilla" experience that the MMO offered at the time of its launch. It was a major announcement. It was nostalgic. It was thrilling. It was all we heard for a long, long time.
The company has announced fans will be able return to the original version of Azeroth in the summer of 2019.

No, that's not as quick as some players were hoping however, fans will not have to wait until summer to get an experience: Blizzcon attendees will be allowed to play a demonstration of WOW Classic at the event. The demo will also be made available to digital ticket holders through Blizzard's Battle.net app.
The demo isn't an early beta version of the MMO. Players will be restricted to 60-minute sessions of play and a 90-minute cool down. You can play it for up to 60 times, but it's only one hour per session. That's not enough for a long MMO session however it can aid you in determining if you want to return to the Azeroth of old.
If yes, If yes you'll still have to pay a monthly fee: WOW Classic is included in all regular WOW subscription.
