Chris Oyakhilome Biography. The Man. The Mentor. The Teacher. And The Philanthropist.

Pastor of faith, author, and faith healer and TV presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. The business, also called Christ Embassy is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. His unique presentation of God's Word has inspired thousands across the world.

Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. Her divine grace was passed on to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. His brother Reverend Ken is the highly regarded pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council, and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), where there are a number of top gospel artists in the world.

Oyakhilome Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters: Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon follows in in her father's tradition of sharing God's Word with the World. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome received his education in Edo College. He then won an award to study architecture at Bendel State University. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received a call from God to be a minister and serving the Lord.

While in the university While still in university, the Man of God began what would become the largest church worldwide. It began with the formation of a small prayer group called 'Youth For Christ'. The group would later grow to be the foundation for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy as well as eventually millions of followers worldwide.

Pastor Chris was the leader of the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite TV and Christian production and programming on television. LoveWorldSAT became the first Christian television channel that broadcasts 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations across the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria as well as South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The church operates two Healing Schools, based in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris hosts sessions throughout the year where miraculous events are witnessed.

Music and Gospel Music play an integral element of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches to have an ensemble trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry and under the direction and direction of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome many of these singers go on to pursue successful solo career.

A committed philanthropist, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI), a non-profit, non-governmental organization with the aim of helping the most vulnerable individuals and communities in some of the poorest regions and countries around the globe.

As well as preaching the Gospel, the Man of God has created NGOs with a an aim of providing vital aid and hope to vulnerable, needy, and forgotten souls. Five partners are part of COFI, all working together to improve living standards in the poorest areas.

The InnerCity Mission for Children The InnerCity Mission for Children Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIFthe Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and Bible For All Mission are all under COFI. Bible For All Mission, the Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and COFI umbrella. Oyakhilome Each of these organizations strives to improve the wellbeing, health and spirits of those most at risk.

His charity also provides support for children who are in need. Pastor Chris believes in building communities by establishing COFI and The InnerCity Mission.
