Enchantment IDs


Enchantment Description

Protection: Provides more than an Armor's unenchanted security





Fire Protection: You don't suffer the damage caused by Lava and Fire. Quite useful in the Nether!





Blast Protection: You can't suffer damage from explosions. Don't do it, Creepers!





Projectile Protection: You receive less or no damage from throwing or shot objects.





Respiration: You can breathe longer underwater and experience suffocation slowly (+1 second between suffocation injury).





Aqua Affinity: You can swim faster and mine faster. Don't mix Infinity with Aqua Affinity.





Feather Falls: You suffer less damage from falling.





Depth Strider: Increases your movement speed under water. Walking faster on the ground is more efficient than swimming.





Thorns: Possibility of dealing damage to the mobs or players causing damage to the wearer





Sharpness: You do 1.25 hearts extra damage per XP level.





Smite Inflicts 0.5 to 2 heart-related damage per level of XP that you need to Zombies and Zombie Skeletons, Pigmen and Wither Bosses.

Bane of Arthropods - You inflict 0.5 to 2 heart damage for each XP level to Spiders and Cave Spiders.





Knockback: This enchantment can make mobs fly further back if they are hit by it. *NOTE! Dead bodies can also fly backwards, which means that getting XP could be more difficult.





Fire Aspect: Sets mobs on fire when you hit them. If they die by a cow, pig, and mushrooms will throw cooked food over the fire.





Looting: Mobs have a +1% chance of dropping more and/or rarer loot like Armor or Swords according to the XP level.





Efficiency: You break blocks 250% faster. Sometimes blocks can be broken immediately.





Silk Touch: Whatever you break, you will get exactly the same material. (Ex. If you break Stone, you get Stone instead of Cobblestone.





Unbreaking Takes three hits to decrease the durability for each level of Unbreaking. For instance, with unbreaking level 2 it takes 3 hits to cause the durability to decrease once. It's not random at all.





Chance The odds are in your favor of having more than one drop of a block.





Power: Bow Damage is greatly increased.





Punch Mobs are knocked back. Similar to Knockback on the sword.





Flame Mobs shot are set on the fire. Ignites TNT!





Infinity: To shoot infinite amounts of arrows, your bow only needs one arrow.





Luck of the Sea Reduces the chance of catching useless junk





Lure: Increases the number of fish biting your hook
