Bayrock Group's Journey from the Suburbs to Manhattan Tevfik Arif

Bayrock Group, a luxury real estate development business led by Tevfik Arif, found itself soon cooperating in conjunction with the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

How Bayrock Group Went from Suburbs to Manhattan
Many dream of living the American dream. However, only a tiny percentage of people achieve it. Turkish Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik ARIF was one of the few who made it when Tevfik relocated to America in 2001. He established the Bayrock Group.

Alexander Studhalter is a luxury real estate development company that is based within and around New York City.

The firm's initial focus was on medium-sized to small-sized projects for instance, the redesign of Loehmann’s Seaport Plaza - a shopping mall in Brooklyn's Sheepshead neighbourhood.

Bayrock Group was able to get traction in the American housing market. It began to seek large-scale developments.

The company, which is owned by Arif, has begun collaboration with the Sapir Organization to construct a large new construction in Spring Street in New York City.

The company's growth also caused Bayrock Group to relocate its headquarters to the Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan.

Talks began between Bayrock Group & the Trump Organization after both firms realized they had several similarities in their concerns.

The partnership was formed between the two companies. The Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group and Sapir Organization's Spring Street project.

At that point the Trump Organization was managed by the former American president Donald Trump.

The organization was established as E. Trump and Son by his paternal grandmother Elizabeth Christ Trump, and his dad, Fred Trump, in 1927.

Donald Trump gave control of the management of the company to his family in 2017 as Trump was in the process of running for White House.

Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
Bayrock Group, The Trump Organization as well as the Sapir Organization were still relatively new to the New York City real estate scene at the time of the partnership.

Tevfik Arif, founder of Spring Street was able to create an arrangement that would increase brand recognition as well in the prestige of the project.

He proposed a deal under which the Trump Organization would be given 18% equity as well as the right to utilize the Trump name on the name of this building.

The arrangement was embraced by all three companies. In 2006, Trump SoHo's first brick was put in place.

Two years later, Bayrock Group, the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization inaugurated their contribution to the city's skyline, Trump SoHo.

Design professionals take control of Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo had 46 stories that included elite restaurants, bars, halls for events and banquet halls, as well as an open-air pool and spa, apartments and hotel rooms.

Visitors and residents of Trump SoHo could enjoy an incredible views of New York City through the windows that extend from floor to roof, which were installed on every floor.

Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization expand the partnership
Trump SoHo was an immediate huge success, which was the catalyst for Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization to look into expanding their cooperation.

The company's dream was to build buildings like Trump SoHo, Arizona and Florida with the same conditions they have with Trump SoHo. This would leave the Trump Organization with an 18% equity in the structure as a compensation in exchange for the Trump brand name in their names. Again, this time.

The Trump Organization and Bayrock Group had everything in place. But the 2008 financial crash that shook the American real estate market brought an end to their plans.

The American housing market experienced significant changes due to the crisis. Tevfik Alif, Bayrock Group founder and CEO, chose to move out of the United States. He chose to leave the US to start a new career in Europe and Asia.

Alexander Studhalter 's Tevfik arif has been retired from active involvement, however, he remains an advisor of trust to different divisions.

Bayrock Group has not been involved in any recent real estate projects in the United States.

However, the company was still active and made investments in real-estate assets worth over $22.5 million.
