If you're playing with Xbox Game Pass you can also start playing on the first day by pre-installing the game on your PC or console starting today.

Some of you may ask "What is Minecraft Dungeons?" I could in return ask for those who have lived under a block however I'd prefer to explain to you: Minecraft Dungeons is our new action-adventure dungeon crawler game in which up to four players work together to take on Arch-Illager's evil archer and his relentless swarm of new and nastier mobs, one action-packed level at time. In addition to doing it in the company of your friends, but you can also use all kinds of weapons, artifacts and enchantments at your disposal. You can also make use of weapons and enchantments to aid you.

Is Minecraft Dungeons an actual Minecraft game? Minecraft Dungeons is a brand-new standalone game that is set in the Minecraft universe, with most of its blocky appeal and challenges. It's possible that you won't be able to place blocks or build a home out of cobblestone, but it's still an adventurer in the Overworld.



Are there any character classes in Minecraft Dungeons? Minecraft Dungeons does not offer classes. In true Minecraft spirit, it's all up to the player to create their own playstyle and identity with the items they equip. You are what you wear!



Minecraft Dungeons be available with Xbox Game Pass? The Standard Edition of Minecraft Dungeons will be included in your Xbox Game Pass membership, with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members having access on both console and Windows PC. Xbox Game Pass members can also save up to 10 percent off related Minecraft Dungeons DLC and add-ons!



Does Minecraft Dungeons have multiplayer? If so, how does it work? Just grab your controller and jump right in! Minecraft Dungeons supports up to four players in both local couch co-op and online co-op modes. However, we do not provide you with a real couch!



Will Minecraft Dungeons support multiplayer across platforms? At launch, you'll be able to play online multiplayer with your friends on the same platform. We're currently working to bring cross-platform multiplayer across Xbox One, Windows 10, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in the near future, via an update for free following the game's release.



Is there matchmaking for online multiplayer? Minecraft servers No. Minecraft Dungeons is designed to be played with group of friends, either on a comfortable couch or an online session that is comfortable.



Do the missions change from one game to the next? Yes! Every mission in Minecraft Dungeons is a blend of procedural content as well as carefully designed elements that are tied to the mission's objectives and narrative. Also, even though parts of the mission are the same, the routes, mobs and treasure you find will change every time you play.



Are there DLC? Yes! With Minecraft Dungeons - Hero Edition, you'll get access to two DLC packs coming for no cost. We'll soon release more information.



Why is it that I can't pre-order Minecraft Dungeons across all platforms? Minecraft Dungeons will be available on all platforms at launch, but it's not available for pre-order on every platform. In the meantime, keep an eye on the official Minecraft Dungeons channels for the latest updates.
