Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on December 7, 1973 and was the son of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. He attended secondary and primary school. After that, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria in which he earned a BSc. in Architecture.


AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Reverend Chris was previously married to Anita Obhodaghe and they have two gorgeous children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome entered into ministry while he was still a student at AAU. The Believers' LoveWorld fellowship is today Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (YFC) was at the time known as the Believers' LoveWorld fellowship.

YFC grew to become the largest campus-based church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church's main office. Believer's LoveWorld has millions of associates and followers across the world.

Through the 2002 environment for miracles, BLW rose to prominence as a Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The broadcast stopped in May 2004 after the former President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles must be stopped by churches.

Pastor Chris's Ministry includes four arms including publishing ministry to heal and teaching for television, and a television ministry for TV ministry. The InnerCity Mission for Children is an evangelical non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The organization was founded in 2005 in order to assist vulnerable, low-income, orphaned children in the world.

These children and their communities are supported by the foundation's participative and sustainable interventions. They include childcare programmes, child development programmes and programs to strengthen families.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was created to improve the standard of living and the general health of communities and countries by encouraging better emergency response services in case of incidents and emergency situations. The foundation will achieve this goal by assisting in the development of national policies related to trauma and health education.


The foundation has provided more than a thousand first aid, safety, and emergency response courses. They have taught thousands of teachers, law enforcement officers and caregivers, as well as road transport workers.

Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC)
